To establish Sustainable Carbon Forest projects and replicate the model throughout Small Island Developing States (SIDS)
Without wasting time, we have started the process to our first Sustainable Carbon Forest project in Grenada, West Indies.
The Little Blue Tree recognises climate change, Co2 levels, sustainable timber, animal fodder, soil stability and enhancement, bio-mass, trees, conservation and quality of life matter.
As a Community Interest Company
We gift the project back to the original owners of the land after each
Sustainable Carbon Forest has been fully established
The Little Blue Tree is a company that designs and establishes Sustainable Carbon Forest projects within local communities on Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
Each Sustainable Carbon Forest project is estimated to involve a 10-year cycle from concept to completion and will be based on a rotational system so timber can be harvested annually to provide a regular income alongside other industries such as bio-mass production.
Mentored by the company, projects will be operated by local teams and will include a focus on gender equity as a priority in the renewable energy sector in SIDS.
At the end of each 10-year cycle, the Sustainable Carbon Forests will co-exist independently and be gifted back to the country of origin as a viable and profitable Sustainable Carbon Forest business.
Each Sustainable Carbon Forest will have the ability to claim carbon credits for reducing 12.5 tons of Co2 gas from the atmosphere every hectare, every year.
That's our mission.
